The maximum support available per student is currently $1,666.00. This may change based on the number of applicants.

Presentation Information

The individual presentation slots are 35 minutes and typically every two presentations will have additional 35 minutes of discussion time scheduled. This discussion time also serves as a buffer if there is much discussion already during the presentations. It will be helpful for the discussion if presentations also emphasize unresolved issues and raise questions. Please check whether your is associated with the correct topic and let us know if you would like any changes made. We have put presentation in the topics list as requested or as we thought appropriate if there was no request.

Travel Considerations

In order to arrive in Fairbanks by Sunday evening, it is likely necessary to fly through Anchorage, as the direct flights to Fairbanks from the continental U.S. arrive rather late (around 11:00pm and 1:00am). While in mid March average daytime temperature approach a comfortable range, temperature can vary by much. Warm clothing wouldn't hurt in particular if you plan to spend hours outside to look for aurora or visit the ice sculptures.Temperature chart.
